In positive psychology, a flow state - also known colloquially as being in the zone, is the mental state in which a person performing an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energised focus, full involvement, and enjoyment in the process. Music Video Education (MVE) is an experiential learning & teaching model founded by Paascalino Schaller at Avalon Intermediate that draws on students skills and passions through a creative process to help guide participants towards their flow state. Collaborative production of songs and videos guides students to motivational learning outcomes.
This model empowers learners, teachers, schools, organisations and communities to collaborate on telling their own stories through the unfolding journey of Music Video Education.
